andrew jackson bell
This is the picture of Andrew Jackson Bell. It is from an old tin type my grandmother had and probably taken around 1880. Andrew Jackson (Jack) Bell (b. 1/19/1841, d. 9/22/1901) served in Co. D, 12th Rgmt., Army of Northern VA, GA Volunteer Infantry, CSA. The Calhoun Rifles, Calhoun Co, GA. My understanding is he lost his hand on the third day of Gettysburg.

Bell, Andrew J. (Stoneman)- private June 10, 1861. Captured at Front Royal, Va. May 30,1862. Exchanged at Aiken's Landing, Va. August 5, 1862. Surrendered, Appomattox, Va. April 9, 1865. Died in Calhoun County, Ga.

Jack Bell is in the 1900 Calhoun Co. census 1316 District. G. M.,

lucretia little bell
This is the picture of Lucretia (Creasey) Little Bell (b. 11/13/1846, d. 12/26/1929). Wife of Andrew Jackson Bell. Probably take at the same time as the picture of A. J. Bell.

ben t johnson
Dr. Ben T. Johnson, Sr, his wife Annie Kate Pickett Johnson. The little girl is their granddaughter, Jamie Johnson. Dr. Ben T. Johnson was born in Dickey, Calhoun Co., according to his WWI draft card. He lived in Edison and had a license issue by Calhoun Co. He later moved to Bluffton where he died in 1948. Both are buried in Bluffton. Jamie is buried in Albany.

Dr. Ben T. Johnson had a sister Mary. A picture of her and on the back it said Mary Martin, Dr. Johnson's sister. The only other information I have is what I found in the 1910 and 1920 census.
Photo taken 1945
