Dragged by Mule

Waycross, Ga. Oct 12 News is received here of the tragic death in Appling County of Joe Bullard. He left Baxley riding a mule late in the evening. Next morning his body was found seven miles away. Signs indicate that he was thrown from the mule and dragged several hundred yards. He was a son-in-law of A. Crawford Smith of Waycross. He leaves a wife and five children.
