Full Title: To add part of the Counties of Washington and Hancock, to the County of Baldwin.
WHEREAS a number of the citizens inhabitants of said
counties, have petitioned this legislature, praying to be added to the
county of Baldwin: -- Be it therefore enacted by the
Senate and House of Representatives of the state of Georgia, in General
Assembly met, and by authority of the same, That all
that part of the said counties of Hancock and Washington, hereafter
described, be added to, and become a part of Baldwin
county, to wit: Beginning at Aaron M`Kenzie's ferry, on the Oconee
river; thence a straight line to Holt's mills, on
Town creek; thence up said creek, with the meanders thereof, to Harris's upper
mills, on said creek; thence a straight line to the
Oconee river, opposite the mouth of Little river; thence with the Oconee river
to the beginning.

Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and by the
authority of the same, That from and after the
passing of this act, all that part of Washington county, lying between Town
creek
and the Oconee river, shall
constitute a part

authority aforesaid, That immediately from and after the passing of this act,
that part of Washington county lying between
Gum creek and Town creek, shall become a part of the
county of Baldwin, commencing with a line at the mouth of Gum creek
where it empties into the Oconee river, and then
running up [Illegible Text] creek to its head or most western branch, and from
thence a straight line to the dividing line between
the counties of Washington and Hancock at a place known as Vinson's old
field about a quarter of a mile from the residence of
John Giles, and thence on the [Illegible Text] line to Town creek, and any
expenses that may accrue in running of the line shall
[Illegible Text] paid by the county of Baldwin.

Full Title: An Act to alter and change the lines between certain counties therein named.
33. SECTION I. Be it enacted, &c., That from and
after the passage of this act, the county line
of Wilkinson and Baldwin
counties
be so changed as to include lots No. 127, 120 and 121 in the fifth district of
originally Baldwin, and now Wilkinson
county, including also the residence of Charles Ivey, in Baldwin county.
34. SEC. II. And be it further enacted, That the line
between the counties of Jones and Baldwin be so changed as to include
the residence of John F. Bivins and Lewis Bagley, now
in the county of Jones, in the county of Baldwin.
37. SEC. V. (Repeals conflicting laws.)

Full Title: An act
to change the line between the counties of Baldwin and Wilkinson; to add a
portion of the county of
Wilkinson to the county of Baldwin, and for other
purposes.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
the State of Georgia, That, from and immediately after the passage of this
act, the line between the counties of Wilkinson and
Baldwin shall be so changed as to run as follows, viz: commencing where
the line between said counties touches the corner of
land lots numbers 236 and 237, and to run in a south-easterly direction
along the easterly line of lots numbers 236, 235 and
234, until it strikes Little Black creek; thence running up said Little Black
creek in its course through land lots numbers 234,
228, 227 and 226, until it strikes the southern boundary line of Baldwin
county, so as to include land lots numbers 235 and
236, and parts of land lots numbers 234, 228, 227, 226 and 237, now in
the county of Wilkinson, in the county of Baldwin.

Sec. 2. Repeals conflicting laws.
