State of Georgia,
Banks County.
Personally before me comes Mrs. M. R. Carter of said
County, who, being duly sworn, says that she is the widow of D. C. P. Carter to
whom, in the County of Union State of Georgia she was married on the 15 day of
Sept. 1871, and that, she remained his wife, and resided with him to the date
of his death in Nov. 30 1910 and that she has not since his death
remarried. At the time of his death he
was a resident of Hall County, in said State of Georgia, and he was on the
Indigent Pension Roll of the State and paid a pension of $60.00 in Hall county for
1910, per annum, on account of being a soldier in Company B Regiment 6 Ga.
Cavalry.
That she is now a bona fide resident citizen of said
County of Banks and she has so continuously resided since the [blank] day of
April 1913.

Personally before me comes W. F. Lewallen known to be
responsible and truthful persons, residing in said County, who after being duly
sworn, say: that of their “his” own personal knowledge Mrs. M. R. Carter
who made the foregoing affidavit, is the lawful widow of D. C. P. Carter who
died in Hall County in said State of Georgia on 30 November 1910, and that she
has not since remarried, and that she and he resided together as man and wife
continuously since “knowing them”, and that D. C. P. Carter was the same man
who was on the pension roll of said State Georgia from Hall County when he
died.
