Manolia Gowder Veal, 83, of Maysville died Tuesday at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Commerce.
She was the daughter of the late Isaac Gowder and Belle Massey Gowder. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Veal; and children, Judy Garrison and Jerial Veal.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Veal Creed, LaGrange; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. The Rev. Swayne Carlan and the Rev. Henry Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Veal-Saville Cemetery, Maysville.
