I'm trying to find information on my 4th great grandparents, William Thomas; born in 1763 in VA. and died in Banks, Co, GA. in 1835. He is alleged to be buried in the "Thomas Family Cemetery" in Banks, Co. He is recorded to have been one of the founding members of the Hebron Presbyterian Church in Banks County in 1796. His wife Agnes Nancy Caruthers had 2 brothers, Andrew and James who were also founding members. I'm trying to find out if there really is a Thomas Family Cemetery or if he is buried in some other cemetery.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am hoping that I can get some information on my great grandfather M.C.
Sheridan of Banks County, GA, also his parents and any siblings he may

one daughter named Ruthie or Ruth Sheridan born Aug 12, 1891. I think
Julie Ann and M.C. divorced and she then married a William Ezer

Major and his mother Julie Ann are buried at the Harmony Grove Baptist

happen to know where he is buried???

In the First or 1820 Census Records of Habersham County there is an entry about the death of William Bolling (entry # 177). The administrators of the estate were William Bolling (most likely the son of the deceased) and Absolom Holcomb. The home of the deceased was "on the Hudson River in what is now Banks County, Georgia." I am looking for information on the family of William Bolling who died in 1829. William Bolling's spouse was Nancy. Children were: Merrell, William, Willaby, Nancy, maybe Stephen and Allen. Is there anyone who can help me find information on the Bolling (Boling) family?

My great grandfather was James Clayton Acree. He first married Frances Kesler and had my grandfather, Robert Walter Acree. Frances Kesler died around 1900 and James Clayton abandoned his first family and moved to Texas. Although he returned to Georgia and lived with his son WHT Acree until his death in 1930 and is buried with Frances; we know that he had 1 or possibly 2 more wives and children. Wife #2 is listed in our records as having been born in Georgia and having one child with Jas Clayton before they left for Texas. Then there were 3 children (we think the 3 were girls) born in Texas. Supposedly their oldest child remained in Texas and James Clayton and 3 daughters returned to Georgia around 1900. We also think there was another son named Jones A Acree who also was in Banks/Habersham/Stephens County born in the early 1900's. I would like to trace marriages 2 and 3 and their children. I have the history of Stephens County, Franklin County, and Habersham. I need a copy of the history of Banks since most of my line of Acrees came from there. I am an Acree in Toccoa. My Dad and I have visited all of the family cemeteries and through the web I have traced most lines but little is known by us about James Clayton's second family. My Dad was born in 1927 and his Dad's youngest brother, Jones, was supposedly born in 1929 but Daddy has no memory of him. I gather that families 2 and 3 were not a popular topic with the descendants of family 1. I would appreciate any leads you could give me on my Grandfather's youngest half brother or half sisters. Thanks
