NOTES FROM Dorothy Johns Thomas, a student): I think the Stevens children were cousins of the Stricklands. The Ricketson family moved to Lulaton from Waycross and then moved back to there. The father died soon afterwards. I heard that Wilbur died in WWII. Geraldine married Matthew Strickland and died a few years ago with cancer. Nookie was married to R. L. Ammons, Betty Jean Ammons McGuire's brother, and died last year. The "nut" with his mouth is my brother, Calvin, and he lives in Brunswick. Elsie lives on St. Simons. Signed, Dorothy Johns Thomas, a student.
