approx. 1835-40, he married Rebecca LINDER in Liberty Co. GA
in 1809, they are in the Bryan Co. census for 1820-30's. After

Seeking info on: William HARN Sr & Jr, John HARN
I am aware that a fairly extensive search and study has been
done of the HARN family of Bryan County Georgia. In fact a
lady by the name of Sandra Harn of the Savannah area has been
involved in the development of a HARN Family Tree. My name is
Ron Harn and I am seeking information to assist me in the
formulation of a Genealogy Study. I am a descendant of William
HARN and William Henry Rousseau who settled in Alachua,
Hillsborough, Pinellas and Suwanee counties of Florida. Any
assistance in contacting Sandra Harn would be greatly
appreciated. I can be contacted (727) 584-1107 or (813)
251-7797 or 107 7th Avenue Southeast, Largo, Florida
33771-2141.
I'm also interested in John HARN (HEARN) who died and was
buried in Bryan county in 1765 and was married to Elizabeth
BEDDISE of Effingham County. They were married February 22,
1732. They were possibly buried in the Clyde area of Bryan
County. John Harn was born in Charles Town, SC in 1710. He
came to Bryan County from there in approximately 1718 to 1735.
also: Date: Wed, 03 Mar 1999 I am interested in the three
sisters with the surname CRUM. As far as I know all three
sisters married three HARN brothers of Bryan Co., Ga. and
lived in Florida after 1820. Any information on these sisters

John STRICKLAND, Jr. (1804 - 1879), son of David (1780 -
1873), married Lydia THOMPSON (1820 - 1892) in Bulloch County
in 1844. John and Lydia are my ggg- grandparents. Their
marriage license has Lydia shown as "Liddy THOMPSON of Bryan
County." Family accounts also place her birth as Bryan County.
On the county web site, Bryan County Pioneers lists the early
settlers of that county and Lydia THOMPSON (b. c. 1812),
daughter of Richard THOMPSON and Lucretia ROGERS, are among
those shown. Are the two Lydia's the same person? Does anyone
have information that would confirm the two are the same of
different people? Or that would put Richard THOMPSON's
daughter's birth closer to the 1820 date? Richard THOMPSON's
and David STRICKLAND's families were apparently "neighbors" in
Bryan County before the STRICKLAND's moved further south into
Bulloch County. John and Lydia moved back to Bryan County for
a short time before moving to Ware County (that portion that
was later Pierce County).
