It appearing to the Court, that there was issued during the last fall l a citation to show cause why Robert Byars should not be appointed admr.- on the Estate of George W. Byars DEC- of the said Robert having filed & refused to be appointed Admin.- as aforesaid. It is on motion ordered that CHARLES DODSON, be & he is hereby appointed Administrator on the estate of the said George W. Byars, Dec.
On his giving bond and security in the sum of twelve hundred dollars & that Benjamin M. Byars be approved  of us his security & that a warrant of appraisement do issue.
Directed to Thomas J. Saunders, Alfred M. Watkins, Bryant Coles, Capel Raiford, Albert A. Watkins, J. H.  Connell JIC.,  Edmund McDaniel JIC., John B. Thurman JIC.

Recieved November 4th 1850 of Thomas J. Saunders, Guardian for Martha Meredith, now Martha Dodson, also as administrator of George W. Byars, deceased, five hundred and fifty seven dollars in full of a distributive share bequeathed to said Martha, by her father, Nelson Meredith. Said Martha having intermarried with George W. Byars who died before he received his wife's share, Now my wife, Martha Dodson, I having been appointed Adm. for said George W. Byars and also the present husband of said Martha, have settled and received the whole amount of T. J. Saunders, the Guardian for my wife also as administrator of said Geo. W. Byars-
