Lemon - Lassetter
The marriage of Miss Lucy Lassetter, daughter of Mrs. V. T. Lassetter, and Mr. J. Dan Lamon was solemnized yesterday afternoon at 4 o-clock at the residence of the bride's mother, of that place. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. A. Sewell.
It was a pretty home wedding, witnessed only in intimate friends and relatives of the young couple. The attendants were Little Ruth Willis, (flower girl), Mr. Homer Lamon and Miss Corinne Lassetter, sister of the bride. The house was decorated with psalms and flowers which lent their beauty to make the scene an ideal one on this happy occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Lamon left in the afternoon on the North bound train for their wedding trip. On their return they will be at home to their friends at the residence of Dr. Beall, on Second Street, Macon. The bride is a favorite among a large circle of friends, who wish here a life of happiness, and Mr. Lamon is one of Macon-s finest businessmen and we congratulate him in his good fortune.
