Smith - Turner
Those from Jackson who attended the nuptials of Col. E. M. Smith and Miss Flora Turner at McDonough Wednesday were Mrs. A. H. Smith, Miss Fannie Boyt Smith, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Smith, Messrs. Robert N. Etheridge and Rufus Smith. It was a beautiful wedding, the ceremony being performed by Rev. F. S. Hudson, pastor of the Methodist church.
Col. Smith is an old student of Jackson Institute and is reputed to be one of the most prominent figures of the McDonough bar. His bride is noted for her beauty and her charming accomplishments.
