Thrasher - Hooten

On the 22nd, day of December 1897, Mr. Will Thrasher of Sandy ridge was united in marriage to Miss Mattie Hooten of Friskey.  Rev. Mr. Moore of the Presbyterian church performed the ceremony.  Miss Hooten was a lovely young lady and numbered her friends by the score who all join in wishing her all happiness.  Mr. Thrasher is well known throughout Butts and Henry and it is safe to say no young man is more popular among his friends.  The Argus extends congratulations to the happy couple and begs to wish them a prosperous new year.
