Thaxton - Caldwell

Charles Thaxton and Miss Jewell Caldwell, of Towaliga, were married Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Frank Adams, at Antioch church in this county.

It is said the parents objected to this union, but is another case that cupid outwitted the old folks.

Charlie is a brother of Reese Thaxton at the New York store, and the young people are both very popular with a large circle of acquaintances.
