Roach Grist Mill in Jasper County

The undersigned wishing to change his business, offers to sell the grist mill on the Ocmulgee river in Jasper county, known as -Roach- old stand. Said mill has four sets of runners, two for grinding corn; and two for grinding wheat, a new smut machine, and new bolting cloths, all in good order. This mill is in the best locality I know of. I am now ____?____ a good____?____. As added to the premises is a blacksmith shop with tools, saw mill, wood carding establishment, and ferry flat, all in good order.

Three good framed dwellings, and all out building necessary. Also half interest in gin-house, and a number one sixty-saw gin and screw, all in good order. This is number one water power.

With this property I propose to sell sixty acres of land, or if desirable I will sell six hundred. Near the mill is a good spring and three wells of good water.

I also offer for sale half interest in the mill known as Key-s mill, in Jasper county, on the Ocmulgee river. This mill has two sets of runners, one for grinding corn and one for grinding whereat. There are fifty acres of land attached to the mill, four framed dwellings, store, house, and all out buildings necessary.

Also the ferry known as Key-s ferry with( flat and chain?) all in good order.

Also a three-fourths interest in the gristmill known as Smith & Watkins. This mill is one mile north of Indian Springs, Butts County, on Sandy creek. This mill has two sets of rocks, one for grinding corn and one for grinding wheat, a good smut machine, and everything almost as new as when built in 1873.

There are ten acres of land attached to this mill, but I have one hundred and thirty five or forty acres adjoining I will sell with the mill.
