An Aged Negress Woman

An old negress, aged seventy years, who has a broken arm, fractured thigh, blind in both eyes, dumb, deaf, full of scrofulous sores, with no wool on the top of her head, nor place for the wool to grow, knock kneed, spavined, box-ankled, slab sided, and otherwise afflicted, was recently convicted in Polk Superior court for the murder of her grand child, sentenced to penitentiary for life.  The jury that convicted her should be tried for lunacy.
