John Thompson Arrested

On Wednesday of last week one “cullud gemman’ named John Thompson stole a coat from Mr. Frank McMichael and was arrested and tried before the county court on the same day and was carried to the chain gang the next morning to serve term of twelve months.  This quick work and shows the evildoers that certain sure and quick will be their fate whenever they attempt to violate the laws.  Ye opposers of the county court, stick another pin here.
