Ross Wooten

We regret to learn that Ross Wooten, who lives near Flat Shoals accidentally shot himself one day last week.  While carelessly handling a pistol the same was discharged, the ball passing through his hand and lodging in his thigh.  Certainly the poorest piece of property a man could own is a pistol, and strange to say that nearly every young man in the county will handle and carry one about his person.
