The black fiend Sam Sparks who chloroformed and then outraged Miss Ida Pope in Stewart County, a short time ago, has been tried, found guilty and sentenced to be hanged on the 10th instant.  After conviction he confessed the crime and, as is generally the case with such scoundrels, says he is going straight home to Heaven.
