Flovilla Election
Flovilla Mincipal(?) Election

The Municipal election of Flovilla for the next two years is over. The regular ticket nominated at a citizens meeting some weeks since was defeated great interest man manifested by each side, our Bro. in Black voted largely that day The election was managed by W. F. Smith, T. J. Giles, and W. A. Cherry. J. C. Maddox was reelected Mayor. R. V. Smith, S. L. Thompson, T. O. Lynch, M. M. Maddox and A. C. Millen councilmen. There was nothing of interest during the day, but at night some friends of the successful candidates celebrated their victory by a bon fire and booming big gun etc. The ticket elected are tried men and we hope for a wise and successful administration.
