H. F. Edwards - Shot

The town was shocked to learn Mr. H. F. Edwards was shot at Dublin Ga. on Saturday by a Mr. Peacock.   Mr. Edwards lived here several years and was a peaceable law abiding citizen.  He has a wife and two children depending upon him for support, which makes the affair more pitiable.  Mrs. Edwards is in a very delicate condition and may not survive the shock.   The combined grief of a dangerously wounded if not dying husband and the nervous prostration attending parturition, it is feared, will be more than she can bear.
