J. H. McKibben
Mr. J. H. McKibben is one among a good many farmers of Butts county who live at home and a good living it is, too. During the past ten months Mr. McKibben has sold over $100.00 worth of pork and lard after having supplied his own family and his farm. This amount is the equivalent to the price of nearly three bales of cotton. Mr. McKibben will have plenty of hogs to kill for another season and it does not cost him much to raise them, either. He will have more meat to sell another year than the past. We should think this would solve the question often asked, "Does farming pay?" It pays if you will make it pay.
