Mr. J. B. Evans Kicked by Mule
Mr. J. B Evans, of Towaliga, had the misfortune of being seriously hurt by a vicious mule on Tuesday of last week. While unhitching the mule from the plow at quitting time at night the mule fired away with both feet striking Mr. Evans legs just below the knees, breaking one leg and badly bruising the other. Dr. Wright set the broken limb and Mr. Evans is improving slowly. We very much regret this sad misfortune to Mr. Evans, as only a short while ago he suffered a serious loss by having his barn and stock burned. We trust that he will speedily recover.
