Justice L. Q. C. Lamar
Justice Lamar-s Soul Summonsed Before The Bar On High
At nine o-clock Monday evening last Justice L. Q. C. Lamar died at the home of W. H. Virgin in Vineville near Macon.
The death of this able Jurist and statesman is a loss to the south of one of her ablest men. He has filed almost every position in life with which the people could honor him. From a lawyer to a school teacher to congressman, senator, cabinet officer and Supreme Justice he has served his country nobly.
