Ordinary Disqualified
Two cases will come before the ordinary's court next Monday in which he is disqualified. Both are Will cases. One is the Will of Mr. William Weaver and the later is the Will of the late T. J. Lane. Both Wills will be offered for probate and as Mrs. J. F. Carmichael is a daughter of Mr. Weaver and one of the parties at interest Judge Carmichael is disqualified under the laws form passing on the case.
In the other case Mr. Lane's widow is Judge Carmichael's sister. Arrangement have been made to have another ordinary present who will preside in these cases.
This, perhaps, is the first disqualified case before the ordinary within sixteen years and it is more unusual that two such cases should come up for a hearing at the same time.
