Raymond McMichael
Raymond McMichael, a ten year old son of Mr. J. Matt. McMichael, died on the 29th inst, of typhoid fever, and was buried on Tuesday following, at Macedonia cemetery.
The funereal was preached by Rev. J. W. Hunt, who was in attendance at the meeting at the N. G. conference at Athens, and was telegraphed for to conduct this sad service.
It is indeed sad to lose from the family circle and, even from the community, a young life so buoyant with promise, but the Providences of God have been in operation since the beginning of time, and man-s part in these Providences is to submit and learn wisdom, thus ripening his own life for the harvest.
