South River Mills

South River Mills

Some weeks ago The Argus made mention of the fact that the flourishing mills at Snapping Shoals were being greatly improved. We learn now from a reliable source that these improvements have been completed and that 40 barrels of the finest flour in the county is being turn out daily. It is learned also that people are flocking to this great mill for thirty and forty miles around that they are turning off promptly and spread the good news as they go. The DeLoach Mills are receiving orders for flour right under the nose of the Atlanta mills and at an advanced price. These orders re received from parties who know and appreciate good flour. It but proves what The Argus said when it was learned that Mr. DeLoach was putting in his roller mill, viz: that it would be second to no mill in the country.
