Tom Bearden - Insane
Tom Bearden, a young man living a few miles south of town was tried before Ordinary Carmichael this week on a writ of lunacy and was adjudged insane and a fit subject for the asylum.
The young man had a severe spell of fever some time ago and since that time a slight derangement of mind has been noticeable. He returned some time ago from Texas, and his father says he has grown considerable worse since that time.
