A TRAIN ROCKER CAUGHT
As the southbound passenger train was speeding along through the farm of Mr. Reese Thaxton, on Monday morning, a negro boy named Simon Cook threw a rock into the window. Sheriff Beauchamp was notified and, in company with Supervisor Newson, went in search of this miscreant. They found him picking cotton near where the rock was thrown, and other negroes testified to seeing him throw. He is now in jail awaiting trial. He should be severely punished.
