TROUBLE

TROUBLE

The depot agent, J. R. Bryan, armed himself with a pistol last Tuesday and gave Mr. Kinsman a severe cursing, claiming that Kinsman had reported him for neglect of duty. Bryan was afterwards arrested for carrying concealed weapons. He put up a cash bond of $50 and is now doing all he can to make terms of peace. A protocol has been signed and peace commissioners have commenced the abors. The protocol is as follows:

Public Apology

To whom it may concern:
On the morning of the 31st of August I offered an uncalled for and a grievous insult to Mr. G. W. Kinsman and realizing now that I was wholly to blame and that Mr. Kinsman is a gentleman I take this method of making a voluntary and humble apology to him for the language I used.
