WATCH SAVES HIS LIFE
A dispute arose between Messrs. Allen Robuck and J. H. Mullis, two well known and popular young men of Cochran, on Saturday night last. After a few words had passed between the parties, Mr. Mullis drew his pistol and fired. The ball struck Mr. Robuck's watch pocket to his vest, immediately over his heart breaking the watch to pieces, but doing no further damage.
