TRIBUTE OF RESPECT

Whereas, God, in or providence, has removed from our Alliance and community and M. E. Church south, one of the best and most beloved members, William W. Moore, and whereas, it becomes us as Stark Alliance, No. 239, to pay he last tribute of respect to his memory.  We the members of Stark alliance, Resolved,

1st. That we bow in humble submission to the will of Him that doeth all things well, recognizing that he is not dead but only sleepeth and is only removed from earth to Heaven, there to await the coming of those who live as he lived.  Indeed, in the death of Bro. Moore, the alliance at Stark lost a true and zealous member.

Resolved, 2nd.  That to his relatives we tender our warmest sympathies in their sad bereavement.

W. W. Moore was born in Jasper Country Georgia, March 15, 1830; joined the Methodist church in Henry county, Georgia, in 1849; was married to Martha A. Ivey, of Newton County, Georgia, January 1st, 1854; died at his home in Butts county, September 29th,1890 , at the age of sixty years six months and fourteen days.

He lived a consistent Christian life; never had a law case of any kind in court, and was loved by all who knew him.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolution be sent to the family and the Middle Georgia Argus for print.
