Moonshine Still Raided On Eve Of The Holidays

An illicit distillery between Indian Springs and Mt. Vernon was raided by officers last Friday night. The outfit was set up and ready for running when the officers appeared on the scene. The operators got away, through the officers got within some twenty or thirty yards of them.

Enough beer was on hand for one night-s run, and it was said, the copper worm being one of the best seen in some time.
