Mother, B. E. Acree Dies In Florida
Mrs. B. A. Acree, 75, of Union Point, mother of B. Evans Acree, principal of Jackson High School, died Friday morning in Panama City, Fla. while on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. F. C. Cofer.
Mrs. Acree's death was unexpected and is believed attributable to a heart seizure.
Funeral services for Mrs. Acree were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the First Methodist Church in Union Point with the Rev. Pleman Folds officiating. Interment was in Wisteria Cemetery, Union Point, with Callaway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Acree is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A. G. Cason, of Union Point, and Mrs. Carroll Cofer, Panama City, Fla.; two sons, J. T. Acree, Augusta, and B. Evans Acree, Jackson; a step-daughter, Miss Annette Acree, Augusta; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild.
