Mrs. B. F. Adams Called By Death
Friends extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Adams and family in the death of Mr. Adams' mother, Mrs. B. F. Adams, which occurred January 26 at her home near Forsyth. The following account of her death and funeral is from the Macon Telegraph of January 28.
Forsyth, Ga.-- Funeral service for Mrs. Benjamin Floyd Adams, 73, who died Thursday night after an illness of several months, will be held in the chapel of Ash-Wilder Funeral Home at 3 p. m. Saturday. Elder A. W. Corley will officiate and burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery.
The former Miss Ada Pierson, she was a native and life-long resident of Monroe county. She was a member of Sharon Primitive Baptist church.
Survivors are her husband; four sons, Ernest R. Adams, Macon; J. B. Adams, Thomaston; Paul Adams, Ocean Side, Calif. and Rufus Adams, Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Glasglow, Tampa, Fla. and Mrs. W. F. Vassar, Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. J. T. Edwards, Yatesville; Mrs. J. M. Britt and Mrs. M. S. Adams, both of Thomaston;. two brothers, J. T. Pierson, McDonough, and W. A. Pierson, Forsyth.
