Aaron Cecil Adams Jr.
Aaron Cecil Adams Jr., 72, of Route 3, Jackson, Colwell Road, died Saturday night at Sylvan Grove Hospital following a brief illness.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with the Rev. David Schulherr officiating. Burial was in the McKibben family lot in the Jackson cemetery.
Mr. Adams, a native of Fayette County, was the son of A. C. Adams Sr, and Jewel McElhaney Adams. He served in the Air Force and was employed by Fulton County for 40 years. He was a member of the Peace Officers Association of Georgia and was a member and deacon of the Fellowship Presbyterian Church in Butts County.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hurt Adams; son and daughter-in-law, A. C, (Ron) Adams III and Linda of Sheridan, Wyom.; grandson, Aaron C, Adams IV. Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
