Dorothy Watts Adams, 66, of Atlanta, died March 16.
The funeral was held March 21 at 1 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Atlanta with the Rev. Leroy Barnes officiating. Burial was in the Kenneth Cemetery in Ellenwood. Mrs. Adams was a native of Butts County.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Watts of Jackson; daughter, Joyce Pratt of Atlanta; sons, Damon and William Adams, both of Atlanta; sisters, Betty Dumas, Ann Jester, Mary Tanner, and Ruby Watts, all of Jackson, and Brenda Neal of Griffin; brothers, James E. Watts Jr. of Jackson, Bennie Watts of Decatur, Charles Watts of Atlanta, Roy Watts of Griffin, and Sgt. Larry Watts of Cookstown, N.J.; eight grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; several nephews and nieces.
Trimier - Jackson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
