Wife of Former Minister Dies In Cartersville
Mrs. Walter S. Adams, 70, wife of a former pastor of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, died Thursday night at her home in Cartersville.
Mrs. Adams, the former Miss Eunice Ginn, was a past president of the Cartersville Business and Professional Women's Club and for the past eight years was News Editor of the Tribune News in Cartersville.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Cartersville, she was active in Women's Missionary Union work and was a former state WMU president.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Walter S. Adams, a retired Baptist minister; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Varner, Mrs. John Willie Johnston and Mrs. Callie G. Ball, all of Cartersville; a brother, W. L. Ginn, Rome.
