Henrietta Ann Willis Adams
Mrs. J. C. Adams called by death.
Many Butts County friends were grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. J. C. Adams, a former resident of Jackson, which occurred Friday night of the past week in Barnsville. Mr. and Mrs. Adams resided in Jackson for a number of years and had a wide circle of friends here. Mr. Adams died July 8, 1920, and since that time Mrs. Adams had been making her home with her sons.
Mrs. Adams was a Miss Willis of Pike County before her marriage. She was a splendid type of Christian character and was widely beloved.
She is survived by two sons, Mr. E. H. Adams of Atlanta, and Mr. E. L. Adams of Jacksonville, Fla.
The body was brought to Jackson Saturday morning and short services were held at the grave at 11:30 0'clock. Interment was at the Jackson City Cemetery beside her husband.
