Mr. James Davis Adams, Sr., 65, of 2526 Date Avenue, Macon, died Wednesday, December 9th.
Mr. Adams, a native of Butts County, was administrative assistant for the Electrical Department of the City of Macon. He attended Mercer University and was a member of Vineville Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams were held Friday morning at 11 o'clock in the chapel of Memorial Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Adams is survived by a son, Davis Adams, Jr. of Macon; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Adams Preston, Macon; mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark of Macon; and two grandchildren.
