Fred Adkins of Jackson died Sat., Oct. 16.
Funeral services were held Tues., Oct. 19, in Chapel in the Pines at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville, Ala. Interment was in the Memory Hill Cemetery in Albertville. Ala.
Survivors include wife Carolynn Mann Adkins; step-son Ronnie Lester Cowen of Guntersville; step-daughters Patricia Gail Turner and Marjorie Thompson, both of Guntersville; and Angelia Thomas of Geraldine, Ala.; brothers Ed Adkins of North Carolina and Bruce Adkins of Georgia; sisters Ruby Pack and Ruth Jones, both of Georgia; and four step grandchildren.
Carr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
