Roy E. Adkison
Roy E. Adkison, 64, of School Street, Gloverville, S.C. died March 3 at University Hospital in Augusta. The funeral was held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Langely (S.C.) First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Langely cemetery.
Mr. Adkison, a native of Aiken County, S.C., was a retired carpenter, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Langely First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie C. Mangham Adkison; daughters, Wanda Haltiwanger of Simpsonville, S.C, Rita Hadden of Aiken, S.C, and Evie Duncan of Gloverville, S.C.; brother, Jack Adkison of Bath, S.C; sister, Gladys Morgan of Gloverville; six ; grandchildren.
