Butts Native Died in Florida
Funeral services for Mr. David H. Aiken of Marianna, Florida were conducted in the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. Lowry officiating. Grave side services were conducted at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta on August 28th with Masons in charge.
Mr. Aiken was born in Butts County April 15, 1892 where he made his home until he was about 25. He made his home in Atlanta 40 years with the last 15 spent in Marianna. Mr. Aiken passed away August 26th at the Jackson County Hospital.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rosabel M. Aiken one daughter, Mrs. Betty A. Gibson. Rowland, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. Jewell A. Ellington of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
