Miss Martha Aiken Claimed By Death
The death of Miss Martha Lou Aiken, 33-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Aiken of the Liberty community, occurred Sunday afternoon at 1:45. Long an invalid, death followed an illness of several weeks.
Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, H. R. Aiken; two sisters, Mrs. H. G. Lowery and Miss Ruth Aiken, all of Jackson, and a nephew, Ray Lowery.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Liberty church with the Rev. Theodore Thaxton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Thornton Funeral Homes directing arrangements.
