Akins Rites Held Dec 27th
Funeral services for J. D. Akins of County Line Rd., Jenkinsburg, were held Sunday, Dec. 27th, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Monroe County. Rev. A. F. Eusery officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Gilead cemetery.
Mr. Akins died Dec. 23rd at Griffin-Spalding County Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Lillie Maude Akins; eight sons, five daughters, four brothers, one sister; 33 grandchildren, a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Trimier Jackson Funeral Services was in charge.
