Mrs. Lillie Maude Akins

Mrs. Lillie Maude Akins, 37, of Jenkinsburg died March 8 at Georgia Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday, March 12, at Towaliga County Line Baptist. Church, with the Rev. E. F. Collier officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Akins was born in Butts County, daughter of the late Jim and Alberta White. She was a member of Towaliga County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Horace and Lillie Johnson, Marvin and Patricia Newton, Mickey and Lecia Miller, all of Griffin, John and Betty Andrew and Mary Akins, all of Jenkinsburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie Akins, Johnny Akins, both of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Akins of College Park, Mr. and Mrs. James Akins of McDonough, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Akins and Mr. and Mrs. J. D, Akins Jr. of Griffin; Mr. and Mrs. Bennie L. Watkins of Jackson; 35 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; sister, Betty Usher, Rose Glover, Nellie Barber, and Emma Barlow; brothers, Jimmy Barber, Willie Price, and Johnny Glover; four sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Trimier Funeral Home in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
