Mrs. Martha Watson Alexander

Mrs. Martha Watson Alexander, formerly a citizen of Indian Springs, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sammons at Godfrey, and was brought here Thursday and buried at the village cemetery. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the funeral service which was conducted by her home pastor. Mrs. Alexander was beloved and held in high esteem by all who knew her. Prof. Douglas Watson, Mrs. L. D. Watson, Mrs. L. L. O'Kelley, of Jackson and Mrs. Mollie Watson Blackman, of Flovilla, attended the funeral of their relative, Mrs. Alexander.
