Mrs. Dess "Nickels" Allen Obit

Mrs. Dess "Nickels" Allen of Atlanta died Wednesday, Jan. 23.
The funeral was held Friday, Jan. 25, at Spring Hill Chapel, H. M. Patterson & Son, with Dr. Kenneth McKenzie officiating. Interment was in McLucas Cemetery in Clio, S.C.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Eidson of Jackson, and Rebecca Pinson of Doraville; son, John Allen Jr. of Sharpsburg; son-in-law, John Moody of Darlington, S.C,; sisters, Maudine Howell of Starkville, Miss. Nannie Lee McKewen of Corinth, Miss., and Athadele Traweek of Jackson, Miss.; brother, Roy Nickels of Columbus, Miss.; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
H. M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
