Funeral Of Child Was Held Here Sunday P. M.
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Allen, of Atlanta, have the sympathy of many friends in the death of their three-year-old son, Erastus D. Allen, Jr., which occurred Friday morning. Death followed a short illness.
The body was brought to Jackson Saturday night and carried to the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Allen. Funeral services were held at the grave Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Lester Kingsman of Emory University officiating. Interment was in the family lot in the Jackson city cemetery. The little boy is survived by his parents, a sister, Miss Laura Allen, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Allen, of Decatur, and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Allen, of Jackson
