John C. Allen

John C. Allen, 52, of Monticello died Saturday at his residence. Mr. Allen, a native of Indiana, was plant operator of the water plant in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Glenda Gautsche Allen of Monticello; daughters, Christine King-Hunt of Decatur and Beth Ann Allen of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Mark Levi Allen of North Fort Myers, Fla.; sisters, Catherine Davis of Elkhart, Ind., Lois Van Tilburg of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Norma Jean Allen of Huntington, Ind.; brothers, Robert Allen of Rochester, Ind., and Max Allen of Elkhart, Ind.; four grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. Monday in Red Oak United Methodist Church near Covington with Dr. Robert W. Brown officiating. Jordon Funeral Horne of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
