Mrs. Minnie Lee Foster Allen

Mrs. Minnie Lee Foster Allen of Route 6, Griffin died Aug. 22 at her residence.
A native of Butts County, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Eugene Spear Foster and Mrs. Vivie Goens Foster. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and was a retired textile employee.
Survivors include two sons, Kerry Watson Allen and Gregory Lee Allen, both of Griffin; sister, Miss Thelma Foster of Griffin; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Robert Foster of Barnesville and Mrs. Doris Foster of Griffin; brother-in-law, F. D. (Pete) Folds of Griffin.
Services were held Aug. 23 at 4 o'clock at Haisten Chapel in Griffin. Burial was in the Foster-Jester - Huddleston Cemetery in West Butts County.
Haisten Funeral Home of Griffin was in charge of arrangements.
